**How to Play Nutty Golf**
Before teeing off on each hole, draw a random card in the app. Each card contains a nutty rule or challenge – for example using only one club. Play the entire hole according to the challenge on the card and have fun.
The game works for solo play and groups. You can do Stroke Play or Match Play, or just have fun with friends without keeping score.
**Starting a Round**
• Quick Start: Just tap and start drawing random cards – no setup required.
• Configure Round: Pick a deck, choose number of holes, decide if you want to keep score, select Stroke Play or Match Play, and add players.
**During the round**
• Tap New Card to draw a different challenge.
• Use Enter Score and View Scorecard (if scoring is enabled).
• Move between holes with Next and Previous Hole buttons.
**Customize the Fun – make the game your own**
• Create custom cards with your own creative challenges.
• Build custom decks by selecting your favourites, or by combining standard and custom cards.
• Edit or delete cards and decks anytime from the library.

Trial & Purchases
**How does the free trial work?**
When you first open the app, you'll be prompted to start a 72-hour free trial. This gives you full access to all features. After 72 hours, you'll need to upgrade to continue using the app.
Your trial is linked to your Apple ID (iOS) or Google account (Android), so it will automatically restore if you reinstall the app or use it on another device.
**How do I start my trial?**
When you launch the app for the first time, tap "Start Trial" in the dialog that appears. You'll be asked to confirm the purchase through the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android). The trial is completely free - no payment required.
**What happens after the trial expires?**
After 72 hours, you'll see an "Trial Expired" dialog. You can:
- Upgrade Now - Purchase unlimited access to the app
- Use a promo code - Redeem a code if you have one
- Close App - Exit and decide later
**How much does the upgrade cost?**
- During trial: Get a 20% discount if you upgrade before your trial expires
- After trial: Standard pricing applies
To see current pricing, tap "Upgrade" from the Upgrade menu.
**Can I restore my purchase on another device?**
Yes! Your trial and upgrade purchases are linked to your Apple ID (iOS) or Google account (Android). Simply:
1. Install the app on your new device
2. Sign in with the same Apple ID or Google account
3. Your purchase status will automatically restore
If it doesn't restore automatically, try restarting the app.
**I have a promo code. How do I redeem it?**
Promo codes must be redeemed through the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android):
**iOS:**
1. Open the App Store app
2. Tap your profile icon (top right)
3. Tap "Redeem Gift Card or Code"
4. Enter your promo code
5. Restart the Nutty Golf app
**Android:**
1. Open the Play Store app
2. Tap the menu icon (☰)
3. Tap "Payments & subscriptions" → "Redeem code"
4. Enter your promo code
5. Restart the Nutty Golf app
Note: If you still see trial dialogs after redeeming, force quit and restart the app.
**I purchased the upgrade but still see trial dialogs. What do I do?**
This can happen if the app hasn't synced with the App Store/Play Store yet:
1. Force quit the app (swipe up in your app switcher)
2. Reopen the app - Your purchase should now be recognized
3. If it still doesn't work, restart your device
4. If the problem persists, contact us (see below)
**Can I get a refund?**
Refund requests are handled by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android), not by us directly.
**iOS Refund:**

2. Sign in with your Apple ID
3. Find your Nutty Golf purchase
4. Select "Request a refund"
5. Choose your reason and submit

Gameplay
**How many players can play?**
Nutty Golf supports up to 4 players per round if you activate scoring for Stroke Play.
**Where can I find the game rules?**
Tap "Instructions & About" from the main menu to view:

**The app crashed. Will I lose my round data?**
The app automatically saves your round progress. If the app crashes, your current round should be restored when you reopen the app.
**Can I play offline?**
Yes! Nutty Golf does not require an internet connection to play. You only need internet for:
- Starting your trial
- Purchasing the upgrade
- Restoring purchases

Technical Issues
**The app won't open / keeps crashing**
Try these steps:
1. Force quit the app and reopen it
2. Restart your device
3. Check for updates - Make sure you have the latest version from the App Store or Play Store
4. Reinstall the app - Delete and reinstall (your trial/purchase will restore automatically)
5. If the problem persists, contact us (see below)
**The app is frozen / not responding**
1. Force quit the app (swipe up in app switcher)
2. Reopen the app

**Purchase/trial buttons don't work**
