  • Purchase our physical card game through our online store at https://www.nutty-golf.com (“Website” or “Store”), and 

  • Download, install, or use the Nutty Golf mobile app (“App”) available via the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. 

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information in compliance with applicable privacy and data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the European Union/EEA and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) in the United States.

1. Information We Collect 

A. When you purchase from our Website/Store 

We collect only the personal information necessary to process and deliver your order: 

  • Name 

  • Shipping address 

  • Billing address 

  • Email address 

  • Phone number 

  • Payment details (processed securely via Shopify Payments, Stripe, PayPal, or Klarna— we do not store your card or bank details) 

B. When you use the App 

The Nutty Golf mobile app does not require an account or login. 

  • To manage the free trial period and prevent trial abuse, the app uses Apple's StoreKit framework (iOS) or Google Play Billing (Android). 

  • Your trial and purchase status is managed entirely by Apple (via your Apple ID) or Google (via your Google account). We do not collect, store, or have access to your purchase history or personal information from in-app purchases. 

  • We do not store any trial-related data on our servers. All trial validation is performed locally on your device using cryptographic receipts provided by Apple/Google.

  • We do not collect usage analytics, location data, or other personal information from app users.

C. Cookies and Analytics (Website) 

  • Our Shopify store uses essential cookies necessary for the website to function. 

  • We use Google Analytics to understand website traffic and performance. Google may collect certain information such as your device type, browser, and interactions. You can learn more through the Google Privacy Policy.

2. How We Use Your Information 

For Website/Store purchases, we use your personal information only to: 

  • Process and deliver your orders 

  • Communicate with you about your purchase 

  • Handle returns, refunds, and customer support 

  • Maintain business and accounting records as required by law 

We do not use your information for marketing, nor do we sell or rent your information to third parties.

  • Shipping carrier: PostNord 

  • Website hosting and e-commerce platform: Shopify

In-app purchases and trial management are handled entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not receive, store, or share any purchase-related data.

  • Contract necessity: To process your orders and deliver purchases.

  • Customer contact and shipping details: kept only as long as necessary to fulfill orders and provide support. 

  • App users: Trial and purchase data is managed by Apple (StoreKit) or Google (Play Billing) and stored according to their respective privacy policies. We do not collect or retain any purchase or trial data on our servers. Your trial status is validated locally on you device using cryptographic receipts from Apple/Google.

Our products are intended for general audiences and families. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such data, we will delete it promptly. 

 

The mobile app does not collect any personal information from users. Trial and purchase management is handled by Apple or Google through their respective platforms.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. While no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, we work with trusted providers (Shopify, Stripe, PayPal, Klarna, Swish, Apple, Google) that maintain high standards of security. 

 

Trial and purchase validation is performed using Apple's StoreKit framework or Google Play Billing, which use industry-standard cryptographic signatures to verify purchases locally on your device. We do not store or transmit any purchase-related data to our servers.
